Less dust, clearer airflow.

Servers draw room air through themselves day and night. Dust, fibers and grit in that air settle on fans, filters and boards, and debris under a raised floor can block cooling paths. Controlled cleaning keeps particulates down and gives operators a hall that looks as reliable as it runs when customers tour it. Arbor cleans data halls, colocation suites and server rooms to each operator’s own procedures.

Every site gets a written plan split by zone. The white space follows your procedures step by step. Offices, the operations center, break rooms, restrooms and the dock follow a recurring commercial routine.

Data centers in the Sacramento area.

Sacramento has a growing set of colocation campuses, and enterprise server rooms sit inside office buildings across our regions.

A single equipment room on an office floor needs the same careful method as a full hall, and both are planned the same way.

Access, escorts and gowning.

Data centers control who enters and where they go, and the crew works inside that system. Cleaners are background-checked, sign in at security, wear the badges you issue and work under escort where your procedures require it. Visit windows are booked ahead with your operations team.

Before the white space, the crew puts on the shoe covers or garments your procedure lists, crosses the tacky mats and brings only approved tools into the room. Carts are wiped before they enter, and everything leaves with the crew.

The data hall, top to bottom.

In the hall, work moves from high to low so falling dust is caught below. Cabinet tops, reachable overhead trays, door frames and walls come first, using low-lint wipes and HEPA-filtered vacuums, followed by aisle doors and then the floor. Your procedure sets which equipment surfaces the crew may touch.

Materials are chosen for the room: anti-static floor solutions, damp microfiber instead of sprays near equipment, and no aerosols or powders. Floors are damp-mopped with water changed often, and perforated tiles are vacuumed to keep airflow open.

Raised floors and the space beneath.

Dust, cable ties, packaging and construction debris gather under a raised floor where nobody looks. Arbor works below the floor in small sections, raising only the tiles your procedure permits at once, vacuuming the slab, pedestals and cable paths with HEPA equipment, then cleaning the underside and face of each tile as it is set back.

Plenums usually run on a scheduled cycle, with the floor surface done more often. After a deployment or equipment move, a project clean removes the boxes, foam and fine dust so the room is back to normal before new gear goes live.

Offices, operations rooms and docks.

Operations centers and offices get desks, screens and phones wiped, carpets vacuumed and bins emptied. Break rooms and restrooms are cleaned and stocked, and corridors and mantraps are kept free of grit that would otherwise travel toward the hall.

Docks and staging rooms take cardboard, pallets and dust from every delivery. Floors are swept and scrubbed so equipment is unboxed in a clean space. Hard floors here can be scrubbed or refinished through commercial floor care.

What sets the price.

Data center pricing follows the site’s layout and rules: white space square footage against office and support space, raised-floor area, how often the under-floor is cleaned, escort and access windows, after-hours scheduling, and project cleans after deployments.

A few useful answers

Common questions

Will your crew follow our access and escort rules?

Yes. Crews sign in, wear your badges, work under escort where required and keep to the windows your team books.

How do you clean under a raised floor?

A few tiles come up at a time, following your procedure, so the crew can vacuum the slab, pedestals and cable runs with HEPA filtration and wipe every panel before it drops back into the grid.

Can you clean after a hardware deployment?

Yes. A project clean removes packaging, foam and fine dust so the room is ready before new equipment goes live.

Are offices and the loading dock included?

Yes. Offices, operations rooms, restrooms, break rooms and the dock follow a commercial routine alongside the white space plan.
